Panini Football 78.
The inside front cover of the Panini Football 79 Sticker Album shows a large first division fixture matrix, those games already completed at the time of publishing have their scores completed, whilst the remaining games are blank, for you to fill in the scores yourself. The first page shows the Football League, FPA and SPFA emblems, proclaiming the album to be “The only collection approved by the Football League”.

An unusual addition to the front page of the 1979 Football sticker album is a large six-sticker map of the UK, showing the location of each club in the leagues. The clubs are colour coded and numbered, with a key below.

The club pages start as usual with Arsenal. The detail included for each team includes general info such as who the chairman, manager and captain is, the honours list and descriptions of the home and away kits. Alongside are the badge sticker and team photo sticker. The badge stickers in this edition aren’t the usual gold or silver foil stickers, they appear to be more of a textured material sticker, with a certain ‘gleam’ to them. 14 stickers are allocated to each team’s squad members, with another for the manager. Each with a brief biography written below, this covers two pages per team.

The Second Division teams are four clubs to a page, with only the club information, badge and team stickers. The remainder of the album is the Scottish Premier Division, which is laid out the same as the English First Division.

I do not have # 14.
